Getting to Greensboro
Piedmont Triad International Airport (PTI or GSO) - If the price is right, this is definitely the best option for flying to Greensboro, as it is in the city limits and an easy ride share to anywhere in the booming metropolis. Affectionally used by most Greensboro natives and known for the parking lot and how easy it is to pick someone up!
Raleigh-Durham Airport (RDU) - Aptly named for its location between Raleigh and Durham, RDU is about a 1.5 hour drive from Greensboro. It’s an easy drive and flights are often cheaper!
Charlotte Douglas Airport (CLT) - The Queen City airport! Be warned that if you choose this route there is always traffic coming to Greensboro because of never-ending construction to “improve the congested area."

The Children’s Museum is also walkable from the hotels and the Science Center is only a short ride away, if your little ones make the journey.
The popular southern fast food chain, Cookout, was founded in Greensboro and the original location (2411 Battleground Ave) was a popular spot for loitering for Caila and her friends in high school. Other local delicacies include Biscuitville and Bojangles for biscuits and Tex & Shirley’s Restaurant or Herbie’s Diner for breakfast. For finer dining around town check out Lucky 32 Southern Kitchen, Ember Wood Fired Grill, and 1618 West.
